These Gorgeous Canadian National Parks Will Be Free in 2017

In celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday, the government has announced that they are waiving entry fees at more than 40 national parks in 2017.

As if that wasn’t cool enough, admission to national parks will be free for children under the age of 18 starting in 2018. Even more, any adult who has become a Canadian citizen in the previous 12 months gets one year’s free admission.

Entrance fess bring in about $59 million for Parks Canada. The remaining $670 million of the annual budge comes from the federal government.
