From Engineer to Future Chef on Sayat Explores Food

“There is nothing more important to me than food,” Sayat says on his Tumblr, Sayat Explores Food. Many people say that, but he means it – an Armenian born in Turkey, he switched careers two years ago from industrial engineer to cooking in several countries. He’s now in culinary school in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. On his blog he contributes a heavy stream of food porn from his adventures, with enthusiastic captions punctuated by many exclamation points (he really does love food). He also shares his recipes and exotic ingredients he’s found along the way.
