Finally! Four Seasons Opens at Disney World

A whole new level of luxury opened at Walt Disney World this week with the unveiling of the park’s Four Seasons Resort Orlando.
The resort offers guests six different restaurants, a full-service spa with ultra-private couples bungalows, and a Tom Fazio-designed golf course. And just in case that wasn’t enough, the hotel also its very own Explorer island, with 5 acres of amusements: beach volleyball, a Lazy River ride with a 9-foot waterfall, and a 242-foot water slide.

There are 444 guest rooms, including 68 suites. If you want the full-on princess treatment you can splurge for the 16th floor nine-bedroom Royal Suite, where you can get a birds-eye view of the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks from the 1,000-square-foot terrace.

“For the first time, Four Seasons is presenting a nine — yes, nine! — bedroom option with our top-floor Royal Suite,” said resort manager Ben Shank. “And in addition, we can seamlessly expand our Presidential Suite to four bedrooms, or for those who want complete privacy and plenty of room to spread out, the entire 16th floor can be booked exclusively.”

Restaurants on property include Ravello, a modern Italian spot on the hotel’s main floor and garden level helmed by executive chef Fabrizio Schenardi.

Set to open in September is Capa, a contemporary Spanish steakhouse on the 17th floor with an outdoor dining terrace that also offers views of the nightly Magic Kingdom Park fireworks.
But since this is the Four Seasons, a stay here will come with a hefty price tag. Regular rooms start at $545 a night.
