Extreme Cyclist to Go Coast to Coast in Cuba

From coast to coast, Austrian extreme cyclist Jacob Zurl is going the distance in Cuba.

“I am going to cycle Cuba without stopping, from Masi to Cape San Antonio,” said extreme cyclist Jacob Zurl, who is preparing to ride in Cuba coast to coast in record time. “It will be the first non-stop ride crossing the island."

The 1,400-kilometer ride typically is done in two weeks, but Zurl plans to ride it in under 55 hours. He says he chose Cuba because of its spinning resilience.
