Would You Pay $2,000 for an Overwater Bungalow at Disney World?

I’ve always dreamed of staying in an overwater bungalow. And last night, I got my chance — at Walt Disney World in Florida. Twenty Tahitian-style overwater bungalows have opened just minutes from the Magic Kingdom. They’re part of the massive renovation of the iconic Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and the newest addition to the Disney Vacation Club.

But whether you’re in Bora Bora or Florida, staying in an overwater bungalow like this doesn’t come cheap. These villas start at a mind-boggling $2,137 a night, if you’re not a member of Disney Vacation Club.

My daughter Lucy and I were the first people to spend the night in one of the bungalows. Here’s a sneak peek at what it was like to stay in the lap of luxury at Disney.
