#Daydream: Remarkable Rocks in Flinders Chase National Park on Kangaroo Island

We know how it is. You’re stuck at your desk and the day seems to be going on forever. Your mind starts to wander — at first to “anywhere but here,” but then to exotic, faraway lands where your everyday problems and stress melt in the presence of true paradise. You want to go to there, and we want to go with you. Every day at 3 p.m. Eastern, we’ll send you a picture of the place we at Yahoo Travel are daydreaming about so we can all take that mental vacation together. Let’s go to…

…Remarkable Rocks in Flinders Chase National Park!!! We never cease to be fascinated by the incredible creations nature has come up with over the years and Flinders Chase National Park in South Australia is no exception. The national park and sanctuary is home to two geological wonders – the Admirals Arch and the Remarkable Rocks (and let’s face it, the name isn’t lying; they really are pretty remarkable!) Wander around and take take in the beauty of these natural sculptures before heading down to the Admirals Arch where you will find gangs of playful, long-nosed fur seals and their pups playing in the water and sunning themselves on the sand. Seals aren’t the only fun furry friends you’ll see around the park, though! Flinders Chase is also a sanctuary for endangered species. As you explore the park, you’re likely to see some of the koalas, platypus, kangaroos, goannas, and echidnas that call the park their home.
