#Daydream: Piazza Navona in Rome, Italy

We know how it is. You’re stuck at your desk and the day seems to be going on forever. Your mind starts to wander — at first to “anywhere but here,” but then to exotic, faraway lands where your everyday problems and stress melt in the presence of true paradise. You want to go to there, and we want to go with you. …Piazza Navona! While Rome certainly isn’t short of beautiful piazzas, Navona is one of our favorites. Grab an espresso and pastries from one of the cafés in the area, find a spot to sit, and enjoy an afternoon of primo people watching in the piazza. When you’ve had enough sitting back and observing, join the crowds and wander through the piazza. Check out the wonderful Baroque Roman architecture and admire the fountains, including Bernini’s incredible Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi.
