… Halemaumau Crater in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park for a color and light show unlike any in nature. When the glow of the lava contrasts with the darkening sky, it becomes a multi-colored vision. Catching a lava sighting in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park can be a crapshoot at times because of the weather, visibility or how the lava happens to be flowing that day. But when it does happen, it is spectacular — and the stuff of many a Daydream.
