Candy Land Comes to Life for the Holidays

Did you love playing Candy Land as a kid? Did you dream of skipping down the colorful road on the way to Gum Drop Mountain? If so, your dream is coming true!

From Nov. 21 through Jan. 3, a life-sized Candy Land game board will be on display at the Penitentiary Glen Nature Center in Kirtland, Ohio.

Guests will pull a card, and move from space to space just like in the game. Along the way, your little one will pass through the different seasons and experience all that nature has to offer.

Special free activities will also be offered each Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.

Nov. 28 – Enjoy S'mores and a Campfire

Dec. 5 – Discover Apples and Berries

Dec. 12 – Ride Trains (weather permitting)

Dec. 19 – Taste sweet Maple Syrup

Dec. 26 – Sip Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Jan. 2 – Learn about Honey and Bee Keeping
