A new plane from Airbus wants to make your post-flight experience as pleasant as possible by making improvements that will help alleviate jet lag.

The new A350 XWB will line the jets’ cabins with LED lights with 16.7 million light settings to try to mirror any natural lighting possibility. Since jet lag is caused mainly by a disruption of our Circadian rhythms, the addition of natural styles of lighting can actually do a lot to combat the negative effects such as drowsiness, insomnia and anxiety.

The new plane’s frame will be made of plastic reinforced with a carbon fiber which will allow the cabin to be pressurized to 6,000 feet, keeping humidity levels much higher. This will help keep moisture in the air, combatting skin and eye dryness.

The first A350 XWB was delivered to TAM Airlines on 17 December 2015.

“Adding this aircraft into our fleet not only proves our commitment to maintaining one of the youngest and most modern fleets in the world, but it also strengthens our relationship with Airbus, a true partner with whom we have grown in the last decades,” Roberto Alvo, CEO of International & Alliances, LATAM Airlines Group said in a statement.

According to Digital Trends, “the new line of A350 XWB jets cost Airbus a $15 billion investment.
