Around the World in 11 Drinks at Walt Disney World's Epcot

There is a common misconception that Disney World is reserved for children, family reunions and the occasional cheerleading competition. I am here to show you how you can have some good, clean fun and get a good buzz at the same time.
To real Disney-aficionados like myself, we know that there is something for everyone, especially those who want to drink and eat their ways through vacation.
In college you may have been introduced to the concept of “progressives.” These are like mini-pilgrimages of booze where one goes from place to place imbibing new wondrous libations at every stop. DisneyWorld is home to two of the best progressives on Earth: The famous World Showcase in WDW’s Epcot and the Monorail hotels near Magic Kingdom.

Today we will take you to the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, better known as EPCOT. Referred to as “Drinking Around the World,” hordes of over-21 park-goers hit the 11 “countries” to sample the national fare from each pavilion.
I like to start in the back of the park by the International Gateway. If you start at the Main Gate attractions, you might hit the tequila bar in Mexico too soon and it will be a very short trip around the World for you.
PRO TIP: get your Fast Passes scheduled before embarking on this, so you can enjoy the park instead of waiting in line for the “Big Thrills” rides like Test Track.
OK, enough talk. Who is ready to go Around the World with me? Hold on to your Ears, folks… The “Happiest Place on Earth” is about to get happier!
