Home Fires has been axed after just two series, resulting in devastated fans setting up a petition to try to convince ITV to bring the show back. The drama series, which stars Samantha Bond, has been shelved by ITV as the channel looks to “refresh” its “drama portfolio”, but fans and stars of the series have been left distraught by the news.
