- Brian Johnson feels “crushed” he had to leave AC/DC’s world tour after being told by doctors he risked “total deafness” if he continued perform live. Founding Guitarist Malcolm Young Officially Leaves AC/DC
AC/DC confirmed that a new album, "Rock Or Bust," will be out Dec. 2. As the band's first album in six years, it will also be the first record without founding rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young. "Malcolm would like to thank the group's diehard legions of fans worldwide for their never-ending love and support," the band wrote on its Facebook page.
