New movies stream early, Robert Englund brings nightmares to life, 'Erin Brockovich' turns 20 and more of this week’s best in pop culture

With theaters being closed due to the coronavirus, Universal is making three of its movies available for on-demand viewing while they’re still in theaters. You can rent “The Invisible Man,” “The Hunt” and “Emma” on digital platforms starting Friday for $19.99 for a 48-hour window. Robert Englund, who played Freddy Krueger in eight films, turns host in the Travel Channel show “True Terror with Robert Englund.” The show features the horror icon introducing recreations of “real” scary stories from America’s history. Remember when Julia Roberts won a Best Actress Oscar for her role in “Erin Brockovich?” In her 2001 speech, Roberts gave a special shout-out to Brockovich saying, “I’ve said so many things about her, and so many things to her, that she knows the esteem in which I hold her, which is quite high.” The movie, based on the true story of Erin Brockavich’s fight against the Pacific Gas and Electric Company, turns 20!
