STORY: Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Gal Gadot, Robert Downey Jr. and Edward Norton were just a few of the Hollywood celebrities putting their name to the ninth annual Breakthrough Prize awards, which celebrates scientific discoveries that help humanity.Each of the laureates celebrated during the award show receive $3 million as a prize for their work — putting them on par with A-list pay packets during films.Actor Edward Norton said: "These people have done work that's deeply contributive to everyone in society and spent their whole lives working on it. I've been to a few of these, I find them really like not just inspiring, sometimes quite emotional, you know. It's really, really, it's just incredibly admirable."Singer Lionel Richie told Reuters: "We honor records and film but there's science. Think about that. These are the folks that actually change our society to make it better. We don't know a name. You really don't know a name and so it's time to bring them to the front.""I'm not a Hollywood actor, who loves to be in front of the audience and take credit for things like this. My job was to make a vaccine and I did it," said laureate Dr Drew Weissman.
