Noted Telugu actress Krishna Kumari passes away

Veteran yesteryear actor Krishna Kumari passed away at the age of 85 at her residence in Bangalore. The actress was diagnosed with cancer and had been undergoing chemotherapy for the past couple of years. Known for her work in Telugu, Krishna Kumari had acted in more than 125 films in Telugu and almost 50 films in Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam. She was one of the noted Telugu actresses of the 1960s and 1980s and had worked with legends actors like NT Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Krishnam Raju, Dr Rajkumar, Sivaji Ganesan, Kanta Rao, and Jaggayya. She is survived by her daughter Dipika.
