Supergirl star Melissa Benoist joins Boston bombing movie Patriots Day
Melissa Benoist is headed from National City to Boston. The <em>Supergirl</em> star has joined the cast of <em>Patriots Day</em>, CBS and Lionsgate's film about the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and the manhunt for the perpetrators, the studios announced Thursday. Benoist will play Katherine Russell, the wife of bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
