Matthew Perry Remembered for Helping People Fight Addiction

During Matthew Perry’s last public appearance, he said he would not want to be remembered for his role on “Friends” at the end of his life. Instead, he wanted to be remembered for helping people fight addiction. Actor Hank Azaria credited Perry for helping him get sober. While promoting his memoir, Perry also spoke about the toll his addiction took while starring on the hit show. Perry said his addiction was so severe he had no recollection of filming three entire seasons of “Friends.”
