Jan. 14—The state Comptroller's Office issued several oversight recommendations to the town of Pharsalia board after a former supervisor pleaded guilty to stealing almost $250,000 from the town. Former Pharsalia Town Supervisor Dennis Brown pleaded guilty in June 2021 and was sentenced to one to three years in state prison in September.
