This is Yusuf’s month. A week on Sunday, the singer-songwriter who also goes by the name of Cat Stevens will play Glastonbury Festival’s fabled “Legends” slot to a likely television audience of millions. When Kylie Minogue performed in the same slot four years ago, 3.9 million people tuned in to watch. It’s unlikely that the man who wrote evergreen acoustic gems Father and Son and Wild World will ever have performed to so many people. It’s a tantalising prospect.
