Via LA Times: Actor Cary Grant named his Palm Springs estate "Las Palomas" when he moved into the home in the mid-1950s with his third wife, fellow actress Betsy Drake. According to the official listing, Grant's home was "built as a literal copy of a 19th-century Andalusian Spanish Farmhouse" in the 1920s.
