RSA latest insurer to unveil hit from Beast from the East
Blue-chip insurer RSA has unveiled a £40m hit from the unusually cold winter in Europe and Canada this year after the icy conditions increased its number of claims. The cold snap that brought freezing temperatures to Europe earlier this year has eaten up almost all of insurer Direct Line's yearly budget for weather claims.
