The top 10 most-subscribed YouTube channels are mostly organizations, but some solo creators make the list. MrBeast is the individual YouTuber with the most subscribers at 234 million total, as of January 2024. Jimmy Donaldson, 25, is behind the MrBeast channel, and his videos involve elaborate stunts, challenges and giving away large sums of money.

It’s an earworm likely to make you, your grandma and your children dance and it has 13.3 billion views – that’s right, the most viewed YouTube video is "Baby Shark Dance" by Pinkfong. The song was released by the Korean children’s entertainment company in 2016 but is really a product of oral tradition passed down as school and camp songs.
The second most viewed YouTube video is the music video for "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi featuring Daddy Yankee. The 2017 hit later added Justin Bieber to the track, but the original music video has 8.25 billion views and counting.
