Wrightstown High School students build interactive marble sorting machine

WRIGHTSTOWN, Wis. (WFRV) – Wrightstown High School students are exploring robots’ potential to spark an interest in manufacturing.

To do that, they built one as a prototype. Local 5 News was on hand for the unveiling, which included a demonstration of its automotive functions. The students hope to inspire future creations by other students.

“High school students designed, fabricated, and installed it,” said Scott Hanneman, Tech & Engineering Teacher at Wrightstown High School. “Middle school students will get to interact with it and learn about industrial automation.”

Werner Electric partnered with the school and provided $13,000 in materials for the project.
