Watch: SpaceX launches 20 Starlink satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — SpaceX launched Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit Tuesday morning from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in Southern California.

San Diegans sometimes get lucky enough to see the launch, depending on a number of factors. A Falcon 9 rocket carrying 20 Starlink satellites, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities, launched into low-Earth orbit at 11:39 a.m. Tuesday.

According to SpaceX, this is the 18th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission.

After stage separation, the first stage landed on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship, which is stationed in the Pacific Ocean.
