This Website Will Tell You if Your Lenovo Is Infected with the 'Superfish' Malware

News broke Thursday that Lenovo, makers of the Thinkpad, Yoga, and other lines of Windows PCs, has been shipping computers with a malware called “Superfish” pre-installed.

The software not only acts as a spy service to help pipe ads into your web browser, but reports indicate that it could also be undermining the security of the computer systems upon which it’s installed.

Want to know if your Lenovo is infected with Superfish? Visit this quickly thrown-together website created by Italian security developer (and saint) Filippo Valsorda.

We are, as it seems, all safe here. (filippo.io/Badfish)

Upon loading his webpage, you’ll see a “YES” message if the malware in question is on your computer’s hard drive. If you get this, don’t panic. Valsorda promises to soon add a link at the bottom of his page that will lead to directions on how to uninstall the nuisance software. (PCWorld has a handy guide here.) And in the meantime, he’s included his email and Twitter handle, and asks that those in need reach out to him via those mediums. (Like we said, a saint.)

Good luck, everyone!
