When it comes to screen real estate you can never have enough. Using multiple monitors on the desktop spoils you for those times when you head out with the skinny laptop and its comparatively small screen. The Slidenjoy looks to address that, with one or two additional displays that slide out from the side of the laptop screen.

The principle is simple: the additional screens are part of a unit that attaches to a Mac or PC behind the laptop display. The unit connects to the laptop via a single USB 3.0 cable. The screens can be pulled out when the extra display is needed, and are hinged and can be rotated 180 degrees to create a personalized panoramic environment. They can also be folded out to let others see them independently of the laptop display.

When no longer needed the displays slide in and the laptop can be closed as usual. It appears to add about an inch in thickness given it has two screens, and there is no indication of the weight of the device. There are three sizes available to fit most laptops: 13, 15, and 17 inch displays, and the firm says all sizes will cost the same.

The Slidenjoy will be available in either one or two display models in the three different sizes. The single unit starts at 199 Euros and the double at 299 Euros.
