Test-drive this Prius without leaving the showroom
Toyota is offering attendees at this year’s TechCrunch Disrupt the chance to take the newest Prius on a digital test drive.
The 4D virtual experience is called “The Impossible Quest.”
Participants wear a Vive headset and sit in a chair powered by hydraulics.
The mission involves creating a piece of virtual art, chauffeuring a stranger who offers information about the Prius Prime, and, of course, avoiding obstacles and bad guys.
The experience is further enhanced by puffs of air and sprays of mist.
We’re not sure if Toyota will make the “Quest” available beyond Disrupt but we’d definitely love to take it for a spin
