AT&T service outage could end Thursday

Update: Customers are expected to get their service restored on Thursday, but those times could vary, AT&T’s customer service account told a 27 News reporter through a direct message on X, formerly known as Twitter.

We have not heard back from a company spokesperson about why customers in Topeka are affected. We will keep you posted.

TOPEKA (KSNT) — AT&T customers in Topeka are struggling to make phone calls through the cellphone carrier.

Several customers in Topeka reported not being able to make calls through their cellphones Wednesday. According to Down Detector, over 1,000 outages were reported nationwide as of 4:09 p.m.

In February, AT&T experienced a similar service outage nationwide that was resolved later that day.
