WATCH: SpaceX launches 23 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Florida

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — SpaceX aimed for a Falcon 9 launch of 23 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on Sunday evening.

The private space company launched the rocket at 6:08 p.m.

The first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched CRS-26, OneWeb Launch 16, Intelsat IS-40e, O3b mPOWER, Ovzon 3, EUTELSAT 36D, and six Starlink missions. It will be the stage boosters’ 13th flight.

Following stage separation, the first stage landed on the “Just Read the Instructions” droneship in the Atlantic Ocean.
