See some graffiti, a code violation or pothole in Daytona? Report it with a new city app

DAYTONA BEACH — The city has a new easy-to-use tool for reporting problems or concerns directly to staff members at City Hall.

It's a mobile app called SeeClickFix, and it can be used to report everything from a pothole to graffiti to a damaged street sign.

Residents can access SeeClickFix three different ways. They can log on to the city's website and type in www.codb.us/SeeClickFix; they can use the city’s mobile app, DBCityConnect and select the “SeeClickFix” button; or they can download the SeeClickFix app from the App Store.

At the bottom of the app, there is a profile icon. If selected, you can register as a user of SeeClickFix Daytona Beach.

Residents of Daytona Beach now have a mobile app they can use to report problems with everything from code violations to flooding to the homeless. The city is encouraging users to register, which requires an email and a password you set up. Registered users can track the progress of their requests and see the status of other requests.

If you prefer not to register you can submit issues as a guest unless, due to state law, you're reporting a code violation.

Once you have registered or decided to proceed as a guest, press the plus at the bottom of the homescreen, which says "new request." Send a photo showing the concern, or tap "no picture" if you don't have a photo.

Once you indicate you want to use a photo, a map of Daytona Beach will appear with your location pinpointed. Hit next and fill out the request.

Choose the category and issue closest to your concern. If you can’t find an exact match for your service need, select "other."

Answer the questions prompted and add any pertinent details. Hit submit, and then you will then receive a reply acknowledging the issue has been received and a ticket created.

The service request will be routed to the most appropriate office in the city for the need identified. Once the work is completed, you will be automatically notified using the information provided in the service request, if you’re a registered user.

Here are all the categories of problems you can report using SeeClickFix: ADA Compliance/Accessibility, Abandoned Vehicle, Animal Control, Ballfields/Park Landscaping, Beach Information, Boat or Fishing Docks, Brick Pavers, Derelict Boats, Graffiti, Homeless/Transient, Illegal Dumping, Pothole, Power Outage, Public Records Request, Sidewalk or Curb Repair, Sign Damage, Sprinklers on Public Property, Street Conditions, Street Flooded, Street Light Out, Traffic Complaints, Traffic Signal Outage, Trash or Recycle, Tree Issue, Unauthorized Signs and Unauthorized Work.
