Watch the latest trailer for ‘The Hateful Eight,’ Quentin Tarantino’s next film

There are one or two huge movie releases left in the next month or so (one of which no one can stop talking about), but the impatient among us are already looking forward to 2016. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long for the first blockbuster of the year, as The Hateful Eight is scheduled to hit theaters on January 8th.

“In The Hateful Eight, set six or eight or twelve years after the Civil War, a stagecoach hurtles through the wintry Wyoming landscape,” reads the synopsis. “The passengers, bounty hunter John Ruth and his fugitive Daisy Domergue, race towards the town of Red Rock where Ruth, known in these parts as “The Hangman,” will bring Domergue to justice.”

As with all of Quentin Tarantino’s films, The Hateful Eight features an exhaustive ensemble cast with both regular collaborators (Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth and Michael Madsen), as well as newcomers (Bruce Dern and Jennifer Jason Leigh).
