This sneaky Amazon Prime trick can get you cheaper one-day shipping

Who doesn’t love one-day shipping? And you know what’s better than one-day shipping? That’s right: Cheaper one-day shipping. Rather Be Shopping has found a sneaky little trick you can use to game the system on Amazon Prime to get yourself cheaper one-day shipping. Here’s how it works.

First, you should know that this trick only works if you’re buying multiple goods from Amazon because you’ll have to pay the full price for one-day shipping on at least one item. Both if you happen to be buying multiple goods on Amazon anyway, make sure to order just one item with one-day shipping, because there’s a chance that Amazon will bundle several of your items together in a one-day shipping package without charging you extra for them.

“Because of the way Amazon shipping works, they save money by packaging all of your items together,” Rather Be Shopping explains. “So this means, for a small surcharge, you stand a great chance of getting all of your items delivered via 1-day shipping.”

This doesn’t mean the trick is guaranteed to work every time, however. Rather Be Shopping recommends, among other things, selecting the heaviest item you’re going to buy to receive one-day shipping, which increases the chances that Amazon will simply throw in the lighter items as part of the total package.
