Snapseed review
Snapseed is a powerful photo editing tool that comes with a variety of photo enhancements and special effects. We were amazed at how professional-looking our images appeared with just a few swipes of our hand.
Pros
Illustrative instructions: During our first go-round with Snapseed, we encountered helpful overlay illustrations for each of the app's features. Each illustration clearly demonstrates where and in what direction to swipe to operate the enhancement tools.
Professional photo effects: The Retrolux effect gave our image a vintage quality, while the Tilt-Shift and Center Focus effects let us choose where to direct the viewer's eyes.
One-handed photo editing: We found ourselves cropping and applying effects with just one hand.
Cons
Lack of an erase tool: Despite all of the photo-effect options Snapseed gave us, we were surprised to find that it didn't have an erase tool to remove blemishes.
Bottom Line
While its helpful instructions and ease of use will appeal to novice users, Snapseed's powerful enhancements and professional-looking effects will appeal to all users.
