Some quick fixes if your Phone 6s screen gets unresponsive at times…
Several issues are affecting iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus buyers, including unexpected shutdowns and burning hot Home buttons, but there’s no iPhone 6 “Bendgate”-like issue for the new phones.
In addition to these first iPhone 6s problems, there’s one other bug some buyers are complaining about, and that’s frozen screens. Luckily, there are things you can do to prevent the handset from freezing.

It’s not clear what causes this issue, but OS X Daily says that the unresponsive touch issue is not subtle and usually occurs after a device is unlocked either with a passcode or Touch ID.
Once frozen, the display will not respond to any touch or screen interactions, and can last for up to 10 seconds. At that point, the screen becomes responsive again.
There are various things you can do to prevent that sort of error from affecting your regular iPhone interactions, including cleaning the screen from time to time. “If someone rubbed a bunch of greasy peanut butter fingers all over the display, that could very likely be contributing to the touch screen not responding to touch as expected,” the Apple tech tips site says.
If that doesn’t work, you can forcibly reboot the iPhone holding down the Home and Power button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
If that doesn’t work, and the screen continues to freeze up, you can try restoring the iPhone from a backup, and/or set the phone up as a new device after performing a factory reset.
In case the screen freezes when operating certain apps, then the error might be related to an app, which you should stop using until an update for it is released.
