Fan recreates Batman v Superman trailer using only footage of Adam West and Christopher Reeve
Nowadays we like to see our super hero movies to be gritty and dark… but it wasn’t always like that. In fact, the first Superman movie was a very light and sunny affair while the original Batman TV series was downright campy. This is why we found it particularly amusing that YouTube user Bobby Burns last week made a very clever remake of the new Batman v Superman trailer using only footage of Adam West as Batman and Christopher Reeve as Superman.

Burns basically takes the grim-dark audio of the original Batman v Superman trailer and overdubs it onto a compilation of old scenes of West and Reeve playing DC Comics’ two most iconic heroes. The Batman footage is particularly funny since Batman is the classic grim-dark superhero who has always been portrayed in movies as a brooding, borderline disturbed figure.
