Domino’s unveils the most spectacularly lazy way to order a pizza

Is calling on the phone and talking to someone too much work? How about going to a website and typing in what you want to order? Is that too hard? If so, then Domino’s has come up with a new way to order pizza that should satisfy your utter laziness: All you have to do is send the company a tweet of a pizza emoji.

Here’s how it works: You can go to Domino’s and register your Twitter handle along with a special pizza order that you frequently get. You’ll also have to give Domino’s your credit card information and address, of course, so they can charge you for the pizza and deliver it properly to your house.

After completing those steps, however, you’ll just be able to tweet a pizza emoji at Domino’s official Twitter account and they’ll charge your card and deliver a piping-hot pizza to your place within the next 20 to 30 minutes.

“It’s the epitome of convenience,” Domino’s CEO Patrick Doyle explains to USA Today. “We’ve got this down to a five-second exchange.”

At some point, Domino’s will figure out a way to use smartwatches’ fitness data to estimate how hungry we are and have a pizza ready to go for us without even having to lift a finger. Until that glorious day comes, however, it seems tweeting out a pizza emoji is the closest thing to paradise for lazy people that the contemporary world has to offer.
