Check out Asus’ gorgeous and very affordable Windows 10 computer-on-a-stick

Who said you have to buy an expensive new laptop or desktop to enjoy Microsoft’s recently launched Windows 10 operating system? There are other, more affordable solutions available to users looking to fulfill their basic computing needs. One such device is the Asus VivoStick, a computer-on-a-stick gadget unveiled at IFA 2015 that delivers a Windows 10 experience for just $129.

DON’T MISS: I think I’ve figured out how much the new Nexus 5 will cost

Asus’ new device is hardly the first Computer Stick that uses Intel’s new technology, but Asus makes it look better than previous contraptions.

Don’t expect the VivoStick to turn your existing TV or monitor into a powerful computer. But the device will still get you an up-and-running PC right in your living room that will help you browse the web, play music and video without needing a more powerful machine.

The VivoStick packs a Cherry Trail chip, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, HDMI connectivity, two USB 3.0 port, headphone jack and 802.11n Wi-Fi. The device can be paired via Bluetooth 4.0 with a keyboard and a mouse that you have to purchase separately. A special Asus app lets you control the VivoStick from your smartphone. The gadget measures just 137.9 x 34.0 x 14.9mm and weighs 68g.

Even though Asus announced pricing details for the VivoStick, an actual launch date has yet to be confirmed.
