Amazon’s big Black Friday sale is now live – here’s everything you need to know

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, this is the Black Friday 2015 sale you’ve been waiting for. The biggest shopping event of the year has just gone from “coming soon” to “here,” and it’s all thanks to the start of what is unquestionably one of the season’s biggest sales. While Amazon is likely saving some of its biggest and best deals for Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the nation’s largest online retailer has just launched its huge “8 Days to Black Friday” sale, and we’re about to tell you everything you need to know.

First things first: to really take advantage of all of Amazon’s holiday sales, you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber. But guess what — you don’t need to pay a dime to subscribe to Prime right now. Simply head to this special page on Amazon’s website and you’ll be able to sign up for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime. All of your eligible purchases will ship for free in two days and then if you don’t like it, you can always cancel after the holidays without being charged.

With that out of the way, let’s get to the deals.

Amazon’s 8 Days to Black Friday sale is exactly what you think it would be. For eight days beginning today, the retailer is offering new sales each day and there are plenty of crazy deals to enjoy. Here’s the kicker: Amazon isn’t just posting a static set of sales every day, it will launch new Lightning sales as frequently as every five minutes!
