Planner 5D Launches an AI Interior Design Assistant for Windows Users

Planner 5D, the 2D/3D home design and improvement platform used by homeowners and designers around the world introduced its AI interior design assistant, Bernard, to support users on the Windows operating system.

The GPT-4-powered chatbot has already garnered respect from its users on both iOS and Android devices, but now extends its interior design aptitude to Windows users. Users will be able to leverage his design tips, and tricks within the Planner 5D design tool, and get inspiration for home improvement projects through a user-friendly interface.

"Chatting with Bernard makes home design easier and faster," shares Andrey Ustyugov, CEO at Planner 5D. "Instead of spending a couple of hours creating a project from scratch, you can spend 3-5 minutes creating a ready-to-use project with Bernard. We know home design and renovation takes a lot out of you – physically, mentally, and monetarily. We're making this journey more enjoyable for homeowners."

How does it work?

A user starts by prompting Bernard in a classic manner using a chat box. Questions can challenge Bernard to think differently about a design dilemma or leverage his power as a source of design inspiration. He can help you navigate the design process, explore color palettes, and upgrade a living space with selected design elements. Unlike other AI-powered tools, his design recommendations are immediately applied to 3D models, so you can begin to see your floor plan and furniture arrangements take effect.

Using Artificial Intelligence to Distinguish Your Personal Design Style

These powerful and valuable tools make it easier than ever to brainstorm design concepts. Apply the results of the design generators to create realistic images, and leverage them for virtual staging, to experiment with furniture placement, or simply to find your preferred style and color scheme.

Can Bernard produce a list of recommended products based on the design?

"Bernard on Windows doesn't currently have this functionality, but it exists in the main editor on the web version [of Planner 5D]," notes Ustyugov. "If a user has a project filled with furniture, decorations, etc., they can see a list of all products and can play with price ranges."
