Pizza drones are a thing

In the future, drones could deliver your pizza.

Domino’s will soon start testing out drone-based pizza deliveries in New Zealand.

The famous pizza chain partnered with Flirtey, a drone delivery startup to make the plan happen.

New drone regulations in New Zealand and Domino’s quest for new delivery methods made the trial possible.

No details on where the trial will start, but only customers who live within a certain distance from a store will get their pizzas by air delivery.

If the trial goes well, residents of other countries, including Australia, Belgium, France, Japan and Germany, could soon be scarfing slices from the sky.
