It's Time Already: Apple Watch 2 Rumors

While you’re probably still inside the 30-day return period on your new Apple Watch, alleged insider info about what the Apple Watch 2 will offer has hit the Internet. And the rumored hardware offerings of the gadget sequel are certainly a bump up.

According to 9to5Mac, Watch 2 will pack a camera for FaceTime video chats and a Wi-Fi chip for more iPhone-less functionality. The second Watch release will possibly bring a new luxury version, too – a model in between the stainless steel and 18-karat gold makes.

And despite its new batch of tricks, Watch 2 should offer similar or slightly better battery life, the report claims.

There doesn’t seem to be as much detail on when exactly Apple will come out with Watch part deux. Some analysts are saying this holiday season, while others believe it will be next year. Meanwhile, everyone is of course still waiting for the original Apple Watch to make its official arrival to Apple Store shelves.
