Look at one of the most stunning iPhone 8 concept designs we’ve ever seen
Although millions of people around the world continue to buy iPhones every year, it’s hard to deny that the enthusiasm for Apple’s smartphones has diminished somewhat over the past few generations. The iPhone 6 was the last major upgrade, and in the years since its launch, other vendors have moved on to bigger and bolder designs. Thankfully for Apple fans, the long wait for another overhaul might be nearly over.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been fawning over some of the most impressive iPhone 8 concepts on the internet. While none of them are likely to mirror what Apple has in store for this fall, they often reflect what we’d like to see Apple do for the iPhone’s 10th anniversary release.
This week, the YouTube channel ConceptsiPhone shared a stunning design from Iskander Utebayev that takes inspiration from Samsung’s Galaxy “edge” models, with the display curving around the side of the device. Additionally, Utebayev has moved the camera inside the Apple logo on the back of the phone, which would be quite a predicament for case makers everywhere (but is a neat idea nonetheless):
While we have seen more extravagant and exciting designs in the past, Utebayev’s actually feels grounded in some sort of reality. Whether or not the iPhone 8 actually ends up looking anything like this, it certainly doesn’t seem impossible that Apple would take some of the same risks.
At the end of the day, Apple fans want to see the company try something new in 2017. Another rendition of the iPhone 6 just isn’t going to cut it for the 10th edition of the most popular phone on Earth.
