Update, Saturday, Oct. 8: SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 and two communications satellites at 7:05 p.m. EDT on Saturday, Oct. 8, from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Read our full post-launch story here.

Update, Friday, Oct. 7: SpaceX scrubbed its launch attempt on Friday, Oct. 7 to allow additional time for vehicle checkouts. The next attempt is set for 7:05 p.m. EDT on Saturday, Oct. 8.

Update, Thursday, Oct.6 : SpaceX called an abort of its Falcon 9 launch attempt on Thursday, Oct. 6, at 7:20 p.m. EDT just 30 seconds before the scheduled liftoff. Another attempt is set for 7:06 p.m. EDT on Friday, Oct.7.

Watch live and follow real-time updates as SpaceX targets 7:05 p.m. EDT on Saturday, Oct. 8, for the launch of a Falcon 9 rocket and a pair of communications satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

It will mark the 44th overall launch from the Space Coast this year.

The two communications satellites, known as Galaxy 33 and Galaxy 34 for Luxembourg-based operator Intelsat, will launch aboard the 230-foot rocket on an eastern trajectory from Launch Complex 40.

Shortly after liftoff the Falcon 9 first stage will attempt to land on a drone ship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

Liftoff weather conditions are 90% "go" for a 7:05 p.m. EDT launch attempt this evening.

The Falcon 9 first stage booster landed on SpaceX's A Shortfall of Gravitas drone ship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean for a fourteenth time.

7:05 p.m. EDT: Liftoff!

SpaceX launches a Falcon 9 Starlink mission on time at 7:05 p.m. EDT from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

6:55 p.m. EDT: Inside 10 minutes

Now inside 10 minutes to SpaceX's next Falcon 9 launch attempt from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station with 2 communications satellites. Liftoff is set for 7:05 p.m. EDT. The weather looks great for a liftoff attempt this evening. SpaceX is not working any hardware issues.

6:33 p.m. EDT: Fueling is underway

The SpaceX launch director is "go" to begin fueling and liquid oxygen and kerosene are now flowing into the Falcon 9 rocket.

6:00 p.m. EDT: Counting down to liftoff

SpaceX is counting down to a Falcon 9 liftoff this evening from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The weather looks favorable. The 45th Weather Squadron predicted a greater than 90% chance of favorable liftoff conditions for this evening. We're standing by for an update.

SpaceX is standing down from a launch attempt tonight to allow additional time for vehicle checkouts. We hope you'll join us again for SpaceX's next launch attempt which will be Saturday, Oct. 8, at 7:05 p.m. EDT.

6:10 p.m. EDT: Standing by for an update from SpaceX

After scrubbing a launch attempt on Thursday evening, Oct.6, SpaceX set up for another attempt at 7:06 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, but so far there has been no confirmation from SpaceX as to whether or not an attempt will be made during tonight's window.

We are standing by for an update and will update this blog once we know more.

SpaceX aborted the Falcon 9 liftoff attempt from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station just 30 seconds before liftoff.

7:07 p.m. EDT: Inside 20 minutes

Now inside 20 minutes to SpaceX's next Falcon 9 launch attempt from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station with 2 communications satellites. Liftoff is set for 7:20 p.m. EDT. The weather looks great for a liftoff attempt this evening. SpaceX is not working any hardware issues.

6:49 p.m. EDT: Fueling has started

Fueling of the Falcon 9 rocket with liquid oxygen and kerosene is now underway.

New liftoff time - 7:20 p.m. EDT

SpaceX has adjusted the targeted liftoff of tonight's mission for Intelsat to 7:20 p.m. EDT. No reason for the adjustment was given.

6:00 p.m. EDT: Counting down to 7:07 p.m. EDT liftoff
