LAS VEGAS — Duckfaces obscured by darkness? One of CES’s quirkier products is coming to the rescue.

As its name implies, Lenovo’s Xtension Selfie Flash is a flash for taking selfies, so your self-taken shots will finally be well lit.

The Selfie Flash features seven LEDs in a circular design and plugs right into your phone’s headphone jack. The flash syncs with your phone’s camera shutter so it’ll light up every time you take a shot.

And with up to 100 flashes on a single charge, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to take the perfect selfie.

Here’s the thing, though. The Selfie Flash works only with Android smartphones with compatible software. So that means all you iPhone owners are out of luck when it comes to taking beautifully lit selfies.

Oh, and Lenovo isn’t releasing the Selfie Flash in the U.S. So, there’s that, too.

Here’s to hoping Lenovo will realize we’re just as narcissistic as the rest of the world, and will bring the Selfie Flash to the U.S. of A. in the near future.
