How to Stream All of This Year’s Emmy-Nominated Shows
You may have heard that the 2014 Emmy award nominations were recently announced. And you’re probably eager to binge-watch as many shows as possible before the awards ceremony goes down on Aug. 25.
That being said, some of this year’s nominees are harder to stream than others. Below, an exhaustive guide of where you can and can’t watch all this excellent television.
(Please note: We’ve picked out the shows that have received multiple nominations and are available to watch online. But that doesn’t include all the nominees! See the full list here.)
The Big Bang Theory: A select number of episodes from Season 7 are available on the show’s website. Otherwise, you can purchase each episode à la carte or by the batch for $1.99 on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Xbox, or VUDU.
Louie: You can watch pretty much every episode of Louie’s fourth season for free via the show’s website. The only catch? You have to have a login to a TV service provider that includes FX. Otherwise you’ll have to pay $1.99 per episode on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Xbox, or VUDU. All the past seasons, however, are available on Netflix.
Modern Family:The lastfive of the 25 episodes of the latest season are available to stream on Hulu for free. Hulu Plus subscribers can watch them all. Otherwise, you can watch a few select episodes on the show’s site, or purchase them on Amazon Instant Video, Google Play, Xbox, or VUDU.
Orange Is the New Black: All the seasons are on Netflix and only on Netflix.
Silicon Valley:Anyone with an HBO GO login can stream the whole first season for free on the website.
