How to Delete a Bunch of Photos at Once on Your iPhone
(Thinkstock)
It’s happened to all of us: You see some pretty fireworks or an adorable cat and begin snapping photo after photo on your iPhone, adjusting the focus and angle as you go. But after you’ve found the one Instagrammable gem of the bunch, you’re left with the rejects of the photo shoot in your library.
Luckily there’s a quick shortcut that lets you delete as many crappy photos as you want in one fell swoop.
Here’s how you do it:
1. Go to the Photos app.
2. Scroll through your collections until you find the set of photos you need to pare down. Then tap Select in the upper-right corner.
3. From there you can tap any photo square, and a blue checkmark will appear in the box.
4. When you’re done selecting what you want to get rid of, just tap the trashcan icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Confirm by tapping the Delete button.
This works as a way to send multiple photos from your phone at once, too (just tap the boxy icon with the up arrow on the other side).
Now go tidy up your Photo Library. Let no blurry photo go untapped.
