You finally got around to posting that totally rad, equine-inspired fitness video you recorded a few years back to YouTube. After some modest viewing success, all of a sudden, the haters have come out in droves, and there is one in particular who is driving you batty. It’s OK, he doesn’t understand your art. But you don’t have to leave his vile opinions on your masterpiece video. Restore your indignation and peace of mind by blocking that sucker.

First, make sure you are logged in to your YouTube account. (If you’re already logged in to your Google account, then you’re logged in.) Then click on the name of the dastardly YouTube commenter defacing your video to go to his profile. Alternatively, you can search his name in the search bar at the top of the screen. Click “About” on his profile, and then hit the flag button. In the drop-down menu, you’ll see an option to Block User.

Once you confirm your decision to block this commenter, he won’t be able to send you direct messages, or be able to comment on your videos or your channel. Now you can go back to uploading your videos with abandon. That troll won’t be bothering you anymore.
