Here's What's Coming to the C8 Corvette for 2025Chevrolet

It's been five model years since the Chevrolet Corvette made the jump to a mid-engine platform. While 2025 is slated to bring us the all-new Corvette ZR1, it’s not the only change coming to the lineup. On Thursday, Chevrolet showed off some adjustments coming to the C8 lineup, including two brand-new exterior colors.

The Chevrolet Corvette lineup currently consists of three models: Stingray, E-Ray, and Z06. The ZR1 will arrive to expand the lineup for 2025, but Chevrolet hasn’t shared any details on the car thus far. All three current trim levels are eligible to be spec'd in the two new exterior colors however, which are known as Competition yellow Tintcoat Metallic and Hysteria purple Metallic. The former is a clear nod to the livery found on racing Corvettes dating back to the C5.R. It’s a vibrant yellow, and one that looks particularly good on the wider E-Ray and Z06 bodywork. The new purple hue falls closer to the blue end of the spectrum, and is not quite as high impact as Dodge’s Plum Crazy or Porsche’s Ultraviolet. Of course we’ve only seen renderings of the paint so far, so it is possible that more red is visible on the sheet metal. The fan-favorite Sebring Orange Tintcoat Metallic is also returning to the order book.

Every Chevrolet Corvette model in 2025 will also benefit from a leather-wrapped steering wheel cover, which aims to help bring more of a premium feel to the interior of the sports car. Speaking of the interior, customers will also be able to spec the new Habanero stitching throughout. Black interiors across all three models will also pick up unique blue stitching moving forward. All three models will also offer Velocity yellow calipers.

Stingray customers who opt for the Z51 performance package will benefit from a redesigned version of the rear spoiler starting in 2025. The Z06 also gets some new options, including four new wheel finishes for the 10 spokes: Pearl Nickel, Gloss Black Polished, and Bright Polished with Carbon Flash Pockets. The E-Ray doesn’t get any exclusive options with the update, but it’s also the newest model by a solid margin. It’s exciting to see that GM continues to toy with the C8, even if the changes are mostly visual.
