9 Great Gifts for Under $25

Have you checked the calendar recently? It’s time to get your holiday shopping all wrapped up — without breaking the bank. So here are my top picks for great gifts for $25 and under:

Moshi Mythro Earbuds: $25-30
These stylish earbuds were dubbed best earbuds under $50 by CNET. I recently found them for $25. But with “dynamic pricing” — where companies’ algorithms constantly adjust pricing to take advantage of demand — you can expect to pay a premium right now. On the plus side, that means that the price may come down again, especially if you can wait until just after Christmas.

Pyle Noise-Canceling Headphones: $25-34
These headphones from Pyle aren’t as good as the famous Bose model, but when I found them for $270 less than that category leader, I had to give them a try. And I was impressed: They’re comfortable, and the noise canceling is decent. But as with the Moshi earbuds, the price has already gone up. On the other hand, it’s still a good deal, and I expect the price will come down on these, too.

Ventaclip Smartphone Holder: $14
If you’re tired of finding a place in your car to prop your phone while mapping to your destination, you can bet your friends have the same issue. The Ventaclip attaches to any interior car vent and adjusts to fit virtually any smartphone, in either landscape or portrait orientation.

SpongeBath: $25 (with Bed, Bath & Beyond coupon)
I hate a stinky sponge. And even more than that, I hate arguing over who forgot to wring it out. The SpongeBath is a device that attaches to the side of your sink. It rinses your sponge in an antibacterial solution, which kills the odor, and best of all, it helps you (or whatever slacker keeps avoiding wringing it out) squeeze it without a lot of contact.

Veggetti: $15
This is my favorite kitchen tool of the year. The Veggetti turns raw vegetables into spaghetti for a healthier, low-carb option. It’s best with summer squash like zucchini, but it also turns carrots into elegant salad toppings and preps potatoes for hash browns.

Organ Donor Lunch Cooler: $13
If your co-worker keeps raiding your lunch box “by accident,” give yourself this mildly disgusting gift. The Human Organ Lunch Bag is not actually fit for human organ transport, but for other animal parts between two pieces of bread, it’ll do just fine.

Nomad FLeX Stylus: $19
For the artists on your list, check out this paintbrush stylus from Nomad Brush. In painting apps, it creates real-looking brushstrokes and makes it feel like you’re really painting. Best of all, the tips come in a variety of lengths and are interchangeable.

Crayola Sketch Wizard: $25
Kids love to draw, but often get frustrated when their sketch doesn’t look like what they were trying to draw. The lens and mirrors in the Crayola Sketch Wizard “project” the image of the object to be drawn right onto the page, making the process more like tracing.

Star Wars Gingerbread Cookie Cutters: $12
Who doesn’t have a Star Wars fan on their list? This set of six Star Wars cookie cutters includes Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Chewbacca, Yoda, C-3PO, and a Stormtrooper. Gingerbread dough not included.
